With a few years of experience in the McKinney-Vento and Attendance Improvement Department in San Juan, Megan has dedicated her career to ensuring that students facing barriers to attendance and housing instability receive the support they need. Throughout her time at San Juan, Megan has become well-versed in California Education Code to effectively advocate for and support schools, staff, students, and families. Megan is currently a sitting Board Member of the San Juan Education Foundation; she is committed to fostering educational equity and providing resources to improve the quality of education for all students. Her work bridges critical services, combining a deep understanding of legal frameworks with a passion for supporting vulnerable student populations. Megan is passionate about empowering educators, mental health professionals, and school leaders to collaborate in supporting students and ensuring they have access to the resources and interventions necessary for academic success.
