About me
I am currently the Coordinator for the Equity & Student Achievement Department, where I have served for the past nine years. In this role, I support staff, students, and the broader San Juan community in understanding and implementing culturally responsive and equitable practices. I am deeply committed to amplifying student voices, fostering courageous conversations, and promoting learning centered on identity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Before transitioning to administration, I spent 13 years teaching in various capacities, including general education, RSP (Resource Specialist Program), SDC (Special Day Class), ILS (Independent Living Skills), transition program, and as a TOSA in Special Education. My experience spans working with students from kindergarten through age 22.
