Before going to college, Ken served in the Air Force and worked as a Russian Linguist. After college, he taught 4th grade for three years and fifth grade for one year. He refers to these as the four hardest years of his life. Teaching is the most challenging job there is. Ken then returned to graduate school to get a PPS credential and masters in School Psychology. He’s been a school psychologist for about 25 years. When he worked in special education, he focused most of my efforts on the identification and remediation of reading disability. Now that Ken works in general education, he works with a wonderful team that provides behavior intervention services across the district. At home, Ken likes to spend time with his wife and daughter. He has also been a beginning woodworker for the last 20 years.
