Spring 2025 Student Wellness Summit
Friday March 28, 2025 2:00pm - 2:50pm AKDT
Burnout and overwhelm are all too familiar for those who work in the mental health realm. As "helpers" we tend to take on multiple tasks and find that we are not setting the proper boundaries that allow us to have a better work-life balance. In this 50-minute workshop we will discuss how self-care is a choice and why purposefully taking time for yourself can benefit your health and happiness and impact those around you. Outcomes will include an understanding of how prioritizing self-care can enhance your mental and physical wellbeing as well as how to implement self-care strategies into your daily life to achieve balance and better life satisfaction.
